Ricky Casino Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Ricky Casino collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information about Australian players. It is aligned with the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles (APP) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and reflects our obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006. 2. Why We Collect It (APP 6)

Each category has a defined use: account data for service delivery and age verification; identity documents for AML/CTF compliance and fraud prevention; payment data for cashier processing and dispute resolution; gameplay data for responsible-gambling monitoring and platform analytics; technical data for security and abuse prevention; communications for support quality. We do not repurpose data outside these scopes without your consent.

3. Marketing and Consent (APP 7)

We send marketing emails and SMS only with your opt-in consent, captured at registration or via account preferences. Every marketing message contains a one-click unsubscribe; the request is honoured within 24 hours. We never market to players who have self-excluded operator-side or who appear on the BetStop national register.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties (APP 6, APP 8)

Personal data is disclosed only to entities directly involved in operating the service. We secure data in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest with industry-standard encryption. Access to KYC documents is restricted to trained reviewers and logged for audit. Passwords are stored hashed using a modern algorithm with per-account salt. We run regular penetration tests and run a vulnerability-disclosure programme open to independent researchers.

6. How Long We Keep It (APP 11)

  • Active-account data: retained for the life of the account.
  • KYC documents and transaction records: retained for seven years after account closure, as required by AML/CTF obligations.
  • Marketing preferences: retained until you opt out, then deleted within 30 days.
  • Support transcripts: retained for two years for quality and dispute audit.

After the retention period elapses, data is irreversibly deleted or anonymised.

7. Accessing and Correcting Your Data (APP 12, APP 13)

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask for corrections to inaccurate fields, by emailing the address in the Contact section below. We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and respond fully within 30 days. There is no charge for a reasonable access request. If we decline, we provide written reasons and the steps to escalate.

8. Cookies and Tracking

The site uses three categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary — session, authentication, security tokens. Cannot be disabled.
  • Functional — language preference, last-used cashier method.
  • Analytics — aggregated traffic stats. You can opt out at the cookie banner shown on first visit.

We do not run third-party advertising cookies on the platform.

9. Children

The service is restricted to adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Accounts found to belong to an underage user are closed immediately, deposits refunded, and any winnings forfeited per terms.
